Kimi Taylor
Kimi has been a web designer and graphic artist since 2000. She has extensive experience with building websites, having created well over 100 websites throughout the United States. She is proficient in html, CSS, PHP, ACF, phpMyAdmin, Nginx, SSH, Server-Side Caching, organic SEO, and specializes in eCommerce development.
Two years ago, she stopped offering graphic design services so she could focus more heavily on web design, website maintenance, and started our webhosting services. Kimi’s motto is “Work hard & be nice to people!”
When not designing websites, Kimi spends her time hanging out with her best friend/husband Joe and reading. She has a special fondness for dogs and monkeys!
Ben Taylor
Ben joined KimiWeb in 2023 to assist our clients with social media marketing and content creation. He has a degree in Political Science from the University of Kentucky and multiple years of high level experience in marketing, content, and engagement.
Over the last several years, Ben worked as the Director of Content and Engagement for a state-wide public policy group and as the Marketing & Communications Coordinator for a home remodeling business. These companies – while different in services, market size, location and more – saw record growth in business and reach due to Ben’s work. He particularly enjoys helping businesses stretch their dollars by maximizing their return on investment. Ben currently works in Market Research, working with some of the world’s leading technology corporations.
Ben lives in Lexington, KY with his wife and two Australian Shepherds. On the weekends, you’ll find them hiking, coffee shop crawling, and binging TV shows.
Orlando Grimany Calas
Orlando is a Full Stack Web Developer. He is proficient in PHP, including Laravel, and JavaScript, including jQuery and Vue.js.
With over 6 years of experience, Orlando has more to offer than his advanced programming skills! He is an excellent web designer with extensive knowledge of html, CSS, MySQL, phpMyAdmin, and API Development. With a BS in Finance, he also has a keen sense of what it takes to grow a business online.
Orlando lives in Louisville, KY, and takes pride in his “passion project”, Coctelia, which he started building in 2020. The website now receives over 70,000 visits per month! He speaks fluent English and Spanish.
